ANALYTICAL METHOD DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF RP-HPLC METHOD FOR THE ESTIMATION OF SOFOSBUVIR IN BULK AND FORMULATION

A Reverse Phase High Performance Liquid Chromatographic (RP-HPLC) method was developed and validated for theestimation of Sofosbuvir which is a new antiviral drug. The RP-HPLC succeeded on Phenomenex Luna® LC C18column (150×4.6mm, 5μm). mobile phase effective according to the polarity studied phasewas consisting Acetonitrile: Methanol: Water in ratio 50:30:20 v/v/v using at flow rate 1ml/min. withinjection volume 20 μL selected this present work. Detection made by UV detector 260nm.Retention time found be 2.1min. ICH guidelines. Thecalibration curve linear concentration range 10-50 μg/ml good. methodwas Linearity, Precision, Accuracy Robustness drug accurate, precise reliablefor analysis formulation.
